Catching My 6-Line Wrasse


After he killed my firefish, I decided it was time to remove my 6-line wrasse from my saltwater tank.  With a lot of patience and some acrylic, I got the job done:

    That’s exactly how I acted (running outside and all) when I caught the Domino Damsel in my trap. Then again when I caught the Blue Velvet Damsel a day later. (I know how you like Damsels). Good to see I’m not alone in that kind of excitement.

    What brand of trap is that? Where did your friend get it? I have a red corris wrasse I have to get out of my tank and I’ve tried the diy soda bottle thing. I just can’t catch him. The few traps I’ve seen on-line look either too small or have negative comments about the doors not shutting. This one looks like it works well!

  • stefano…this trap was made by a friend. It’s not commercially available

    Like the video, I have a six line wrasse and he is definitely showing aggression towards my fire fish. I am not sure if I should keep him and wait it out or if I should just get rid of him.
