Got T5 bulbs and want to skip acclimating your corals to the new bulbs? This tip might work for you.
Good tip Mark and Chris, this weekend I will be changing my T5’s.
Just upgraded to LED’s so no changing here any more :-). On my previous 6 light figure I would replace 1 bulb every 2 months. At the end of 12 months I’m back to the first bulb. You can use a sharpie to note the date on the metal end of the bulb, this way I can keep track of which bulb I replaced and when.
Great Tip- I am moving slowly everyone to LED’s and having great success.
This was an extremely helpful tip since I did not even know that tanks needed light acclimation. Thank you. Do new LED’s need acclimation as well?
