I actually like it to collect so I can suck it out. If you keep it suspended in your sump, it’ll eventually go back upstairs.

Just wondering. How do yo siphon detritus from the sand without siphoning out the sand?
cmaravilla..you clean up crew should take care of the detritus on your sand bed. You can also use a small tube like airline tubing to suck it up.
