That’s a good idea! Not seen one before… I’ll be adding one to my shopping list for my new Reef Tank… Just need to find someone in the UK that sells them?!?

Cheers Mark… Great tip as always…

  • Terry Wright says:

I’m running a stirrer and this wont work with my setup, good idea though.

  • Nick Vento says:

I just use a powerhead hooked up to a float valve for my ATO, will that work with the powerhead I have? It’s the smallest Petco brand powerhead in case you need to know, this is a great Idea thanks for the tip

  • Bob says:

Where does this go in the line? Before or after the pump on the way to the tank?

  • Chris says:

I would definitely put the filter before. This will help save the pump itself. I always mix my kalk in a separate bucket, let it settle over night, then pump the kalk water into my ATO reservoir.

  • Aaron says:

Hey off topic question… Can I place 2 mated pairs of Percula clowns in the same 100g reef tank the only other live stock is a y tang and a snowflake eel? Also will some sort of sex change happen and is it true that mated pairs are mated for life?
