Great info, does it also apply to flame scallops?

What a great topic Mark! Your show keeps getting better and better. After watching this live session I learnt a few things that I didn’t not know about aquarium clam keeping. Great stuff.

    Talk to you later.

Congrats on the new family member!!!

Im in love with my nano Maxima clam you said they go on the sand bed, but mine attached to a rock while i was cleaning the sand. I didnt remove it cause i saw its foot already holding strong to the rock so i havent touched it and its been there for about 5 months now. im guessing its not a problem since its growing new shell. awesome video !!!

  • Great video Mark. So far my Deresa clam is doing well after two weeks. My daughter and I have named him Shelby.. Lol. My 125gal reef has been running for years but since I never had luck with scallops I was hesitant to try clams. Thanks for the good tips. Are you adding any to your system?

    Dee.

What kind of wrasses are safe for clams?

  • Nick says:

I saw that chigger when you first picked up that clam shell. Being from Wisconsin, I don’t know what you are referring to. 🙂

  • Paul says:

When you say “stable alkalinity” what number ranges, meq/L, are we taking here? plus/minus 1?
    plus/minus .5?
    plus/minus .1?
