Hey mark loving the videos, some of the equipment you mention isnt here in the uk but still the tips and stuff have saved me loads of money and corals 🙂 just a quick question I don’t know if you have covered this in a previous video, I recently got an ecotech power head I was wondering why you have yours on the back of the tank and not the sides

As Gordon points out… Free info coupled with advertising is never a bad thing… Anyone who feels they should criticise a family man trying to pay his bills, enjoy his hobby AND give those of us in this wonderful hobby free information (and a good laugh now and then) should take a close look at what they’re doing and why!

One request Mark… You’ve been testing the difference in quality between the two types of ball valve for a while now… Wondered if you’d made any conclusions or is it to early in the game?
Restriction on ball valves is a really simple solution. One extra down pipe to act as a emergency only down pipe.

This WAF works for me….Wife Avoidance Factor…also known as “Don’t tell her what she doesn’t need to know”
Did you hear hanna is comming out with a WAF checker?.. lol
Mark as far as the ATS goes. There are so many options, with some proven to work better than others, like red leds and now the Upflow scrubber.
How did you make your mind on which one to review?

We have a agreement in our house. Everything on my tank costs 50p (1$)
So when she asks how much that bucket of salt costs and the 5 frags of monti I reply with “50p”
When she has been out shopping and comes home with new shoes and dress’s I ask “how much was all that!” she simply replies “50p”… 🙂

My WAF factor is great, I take her to the fish shop every week (where i get my RO water for mixing) and she ends up sniffing out the deals while me and the owner talk about how big my next tank should be in my new house lol 🙂

Mark and I straightened everything out. He gave me the Nuisance Algae book and I have to say it surpassed my expectations which were pretty high to begin with.
The Nuisance Algae book, and videos are INCREDIBLE!!!
It is a bargain at $37.
I can truly say that there is A LOT of value in the book. In all honesty it is one of the best reef books I’ve read… ever…
I want to be clear that I am not saying the comment preceding this because Mark gave me the book, to kiss his butt, or to make up for not being impressed with the Cruise Control book. I think I’ve shown that I am honest to the point of sticking my foot in my mouth. If I felt disappointed in the slightest I would say it.
