    Mark,

Thanks for the tip; I look forward to your Quick Tips every Friday morning.

How about a video on what supplements you use in your tank, I know as a rookie many years ago I fell for a lot of “hype” supplement before I settled on the very few I use today.

Thanks for making my Friday morning a little more enjoyable.

    Mark,
Thanks for the quick tip, always a good way to start a Friday.
Can water changes be over done? If so, when would they become too frequent?

  • Brian Davis says:

These are great Friday morning quick tip bedtime stories! (:-D Makes me feel better after receiving a $142 expired tags citation a couple hours ago, while bringing my boy back from a movie >:( grrr….humph, good grief an honest mistake. Who says ignorance is bliss, ’tis folly to be wise? Haha. Well Mark thanks for a cheerful closure to my day…err night 🙂 Love the quick tips your bring! How about a tip for a 100g RM stocktank basement sump? (: See ya man!

Very true. Good tip. As hobbyist it’s good to keep in mind how big the Ocean is, and how little our aquariums are. These places where the critters we love come from have little change threw out the year and the trick is to recreate that in our aquariums

  • Great tip Mark. I think many of us are guilty of wanting to react to quickly in many cases where it could do more harm than good.

  • Ron Leal says:

Hey Mark where do you get your tee shirts

  • Andrew Larkins says:

    Awesome videos.

Something I have noticed lately is that my Alkalinity levels drop rapidly after water changes – very strange so I am adding a Tropic Marin buffer to bring them up – this coincides with the next issue. You have anything regarding how to get rid of pesky cyano algae – red slime? The local shops here are refering me to an addative that is “reef safe”, but I am not convinved or have the desire to test this. Must be a more natural apporach here.
