Oh wow! How Bridger has grown! Has it really been that long?

Anyway… cracking tip as always and worth reminding people. Healthy fish comes from a healthy diet. Mix it up and they’ll love you for it and show it off every day 😀

Reminds me actually… Time to stock up!

Great info, it’s nice to know that you’re doing the right thing when a professional like Mr. Saltwater recommends something you’re already doing. Thanks for the tip!

I am new to this so I feed 3 meals a day–I have anthias and I’m afraid they will starve. They get mysis and marine cuisine first, next meal nori and then mysis and marine cuisine. Every once in a while I throw in cyclops and zooplankton. Because they get fed along with the 2 Anthias, the Royal Gramma, Lawnmower blenny, Randall’s goby and Coris Wrasse are loving life. It’s like being a new mother. Should I relax and just feen one type of food a day?

  • Carmen…I have 5x Anthias in my tank and I feed twice a day and sometimes skip a day. In the morning everyone gets pellets and flakes, the afternoon is a either nori or flesh (mysis, LRS Reef Frenzy, etc)

    Mark,
I have three small fish; a green chromis, a fire fish goby and a 6 line wrasse. I only feed them once a day, with about 1/10 of a brine shrimp cube. Am I feeding too less? Should I up to two times a day? I will, follow your advice and get other types of food.
If I am home all day and can watch them eat, I might feed them some fish flakes, too sometimes. I also have 5 small hermits and 5 nasarious snails and two emerald crabs.
    Thanks!

Uh oh I’m feeding 3x/day as well since I have a Mandarin dragonet that eats frozen and I don’t have enough pods. 1/2 mysis or brine in am, very small pinch formula two flakes for 2 clowns and 4 chromis in afternoon and and at night i do opposite of am feed with another 1/2 mysis/brine. Too much huh? So do I not worry about Mandarin so much?

  • Carmen Stafford says:

Thanks for the information, Mark. I will try and relax a bit on all the feedings. My tank will be better for it.

  • Sherry Bluemel says:

We only feed once a day, should we move it to twice a day? We do flakes and Nori on one day and just Nori on the following day. We have pods but I don’t think anything is eating them since our Mandrin died.
