Gorgeous tank. I was thinking of setting up an isolate island just for green star polyps since I like the way they look but don’t want them to be my only coral 🙂

before i start Dosing my next water change i’m going to start to work in a new salt that might help alittle.i know you said to change one thing at a time. you have a Great tank. one of my new sps is Sky Blue Milli it is very nice .i can’t get a good pic of it .

Mark, your tank is looking awesome !!

  • Chris says:

    Awesome going with the mp40’s.

What was your reasoning for going with the reef crest/tidal swell mode? I’ve read a bit on their Nutrient Transport Mode, and use it in my tank, but want to get a few opinions.

With your dosing… do you only dose “pure chemicals”, like Soda Ash for your alk and CaOH for your Kalk? What’s your impression on the “all-in-one” products out there that get not only Ca and CO3, but Mg, Str, and others?

  • Cam Turner says:

My RBTA split last week as well. Mine was from stress due to a house move. I can’t imagine yours was from stress 🙂 Any triggers you can think of? I’d love mine to split again but I don’t want to have to buy a new house to do it 🙂

  • Mad Hatter Reef says:

Your Tank is looking Great. The Oregon Tort is probably my fav coral. I hoping to get some anthias for my tank soon. Keep it up Mark.

  • Matt says:

    Jealous… much??

If your Nem splits again and again won’t they eventually make a move for more room? Or is this just something your going to watch out for and sell a couple off when they get too adventurous?

I’m struggling to find a UK supplier for the skimmer you have which is a shame as your +1 policy makes a massive amount of sense and Deltec’s are prices are insane…!! MP40’s are a tad out of my price range right now but I’d love more info on them and your choice of settings…

Ahh the joys of trying to set up a marine tank AND having a second child due soon… I need a million reasons to encourage my partner that its important to get set up now rather than later!

Thank you Mark for sharing what is for me me unobtainable at the moment…

P.S. Your little man is looking good and growing fast… Are you sure he’s not getting into your supplement supplies?!?

  • David says:

Matt check out the bubble magus NAC-7. Its similar to a SWC and dosen’t have the deltec price, only problem is they are difficult to get as well so you may have to wait. I got mine last month here in Manchester and i love it!

  • Kevin says:

And again it looks awsome, i hope you let us in, in why you’ll choose the LED fixture you are going for.

  • Matt says:

    @ David… Cheers chap I’ll take a peak at that ;0)

  • Reefahholic says:

    Jared
