What kind of other fish can I put in the tank besides Coral Beauty, Cardinals and Tangs in my 50 Reef Tank? I only have mushrooms left and sand sifter starfish left?
In this session you stated that the gfo needed different flow rate than carbon. Another segment you suggested the brs dual reactor. Im confused or did I miss or not understand correctly. Thanks
Carl…ideally GFO and carbon would be separated in different reactors as they require different flow rates. And they can be combined as in the BRS dual media reactor. Sometimes space constraints and other reasons have a dual media reactor make sense
Ive had a salt tank for a while now I had to move it from 1 place to another and my florescent light fixture went out after 15 years. So I bought a marine land led I have a 90 gal tank the light my wife picked up because I was out of town the store person sold her a what they call adjustable one so it isn’t one that’s the full length of the tank it has adjustable arms on it . Well any way the problem is that now after i reset the tank up the water seems to look a goldest yellow its been that way for a month or more since moved it I also used about 30 gals of the old water so not to throw it off that much. But the water is still the same way . its really cleal to . Do you have any thing I can do I thought that it might be the light . What do you think
I have a blue throat trigger in my 120 gallon tank, I added 3 red fire fish and within 2 hours he had eaten them all. Not sure if this might be because I feed silversides?

Matt…any fish behavior is specific to that animal. That is one fish might be perfect friendly and the next might be a menace. In your case, you got an aggressive bluethroat. Does it eat firefish because you fed the bluethroat silversides? No way to know for sure.
